Regular eye exercises help you to improve eye vision and help you to delay the need for glasses or contact lens. When your eyes get tired of working continuously on laptop or doing focused work then do eye exercises to get relief.
Eye exercises help to strength the eyes muscles and improve focus of eyes. Add these exercises to your normal routine exercises-
Close your eyes and sit quietly. Rub your both palms vigorously until they become warm, and then place them on your closed eyes. Don’t apply pressure on your eyes. You will see complete blackness which shows state of relaxation. Repeat this for at least 3 times.
Blinking cleanses your eyes with tears and also relaxes your eyes muscles. Sit comfortably with open eyes. Blink 10 times very quickly and then close your eyes for 20 seconds. Repeat this exercise for 5-6 times.
3. Rotational Viewing
Sit up straight and relax. Look to the right and slowly roll your eyes in circle clockwise. Repeat this exercise 5-6 times in clockwise and anti-clockwise direction.
4. Sideways Viewing
Sit straight and look straight ahead. Look to the left and focus, then look to the right and focus without moving your head. Repeat this for 5 times and relax and do another 4-5 cycle.
5. Up and Down Eye Movement
Sit up straight and look straight ahead. Look up and then look down and repeat it for 5 times and then repeat the cycle for 3-4 times.
6. Concentrate on Nose Tip
Sit up straight and gaze at the tip of your nose, focus for few seconds. Look straight ahead after few seconds. Then again gaze at tip of nose. Repeat this for 5 times.
Sunning is one of the best relaxation techniques for your eyes. Remove your contact lens or glasses. Sit or stand in sun with closed eyes with relaxed face.
Close your eyes and squeeze them tightly. Keep your eyes squeezed for 2-3 seconds. And then relax your eye muscles. Squeeze your eyes again and repeat for 10 times.
