Cut out nuts altogether and save more than 500 calories. If you can’t leave them then eat pistachios as because it contains fewer amounts of calories in compare with nuts. Two handfuls of it just contain 159 calories, and the shelling will slow down your munching.
Don’t eat in front of the TV
According to the research done by University of Massachusetts it is found that if you are eating while you are watching television then you are eating 288 calories extra without your knowing. Instead of that if you will eat at the table and spend your time for TV separately will give you a better result.
Limit salad toppings
A big salad with lot of ingredients might seem to be healthy, but all those delicious substances on the top that make your food more beautiful can also increase your food calories to a large value than that it could be. Some common topping that are used are cheese crumbles, caramelized nuts, bacon, avocado, dried fruit, croutons, and vinaigrettes which add lots of calories to the meal. Just by avoiding these topping or by using only one topping in a limited amount you can reduce 500 or more calories or also by adding some flavorful but low calories topping like roasted bell peppers, grilled onions, or mushrooms.
Use smaller plates
