Nobody likes pimples, dark spots, baggy eyes, or dark circles. A glowing skin helps you to look younger and beautiful. A healthy skin is a predictor of good health and maintenance. The main reasons which adversely affect the texture and quality of our skin are stress, lack of sleep, poor nutrition, expose to the sun, smoking, and alcohol.
Lots of creams and beauty products promise to give you beautiful and clear skin but there are various home remedies which can give you naturally beautiful skin. Try these simple tips and you will see your skin changing rapidly:
1. Good Food
A proper and healthy diet is very necessary for our good health. Foods which are rich in proteins and vitamins like fish, nuts, broccoli, brown rice, tomato, and beets are very helpful for glowing skin. Colorful vegetables contain different types of antioxidants which are helpful in fighting free radicals. Leafy vegetables are very high in iron and fibers and are very good for our skin health. Avoid packaged and processed food, these food contain a lot of fats and carbohydrates. Avoid sugar and salt. Eat plenty of healthy and fresh food for keeping your skin glowing. Try to add lots of vegetables and fruits in your meal.
2. Drink lot of water
Drink at least 2-3 liters of water. Water helps in excretion of toxic substances from the body. It helps in purification of impurities. Dehydration is very bad for skin; it makes your body and skin tired. Water hydrates your skin and prevents dryness and wrinkles. Water also boosts our immune system. Always carry a water bottle with you.
3. Avoid exposure to the sun
UV rays which come from the sun are very harmful to our skin. Avoid exposure to the sun between 11 am to 3 pm, during this period the UV rays are strong and can damage our skin texture. Cover your face with mask or clothes. Use sunscreen and don’t forget to wear sunglasses.
4. Wash your face
Hydration is necessary from inside as well as from outside. Wash your face at least two times a day with gentle soap or face wash. Throughout the day there are various chemicals, oils and dirt which gets deposited on your face, washing them are necessary for beautiful skin. Wipe your face with a clean towel after few splashes of water. Use cold water to wash your face and use moisturizer after it.
It is the best solution for getting rid of dead skin cells. Exfoliation use natural ingredients like oats, orange, Bengal gram flour or lentil powders, these can remove dead cells, dust, impurities and blackheads from the skin. It is useful in maintaining skin texture and reduces dullness of the skin.
Exercises increase the blood flow to the body and helps in flushing out the waste from the cells. Do aerobic exercises like running, jogging, cycling, dancing or skipping. These will flush out the toxic substances from the body. After workout don’t forget to wash your face with cold water.
7. Reduce stress and sleep more
Stress hormones promote the oil production inside the body which is bad for skin health. Try to get massages and therapies to avoid normal stresses. Sleep at least for 8 hours.
8. Prevent acne
