Since Christian and Christianity believes Jesus Christ as the “Son of God” as described in Old Testament i.e. the first section of Holy Bible which a collection of sacred text in Christianity. And as we all know that teachings of love are the most important paradigm for leading a happier and contented life…
As Bible is full of immense verses and passages about the topic of love. And we know that God’s love for us is a wonderful experience and initial place to dwell.
Hence, just have a brief teaching that… What did Jesus Christ say about love?
Matthew 5:43-48 M “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax-collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
Matthew 6:24-25 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”
John 15:9-17 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant, does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you so that you will love one another.”
So this Christmas try to learn, follow, preach and adopt the precious advice of Jesus Christ. Flourish and share the message of love and compassion to each other in and around you, So that the whole humanity feels the essence of love, happiness, prosperity, and joy.
